What you might do

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Maintain and troubleshoot industrial machines and equipment
AI & the future of this role
While AI and robotics can automate many machining tasks (e.g., CNC operation), human machinists remain critical for complex setups, custom fabrication, and troubleshooting due to their tactile expertise and adaptability to non-standardized problems.
