Farm and Home Management Educators
Educational Instruction and Library
The job is teaching and advising, not running a farm or household for someone else. Time is split between classroom lectures and field visits: showing livestock feeding and health practices, growing and harvest methods, financial planning, nutrition, or home management, and working with producers to diagnose production problems. Research answers farmers' questions; field demonstrations introduce new techniques or products. Community needs are assessed from collected data, some of the work is advocacy for farmers or farm groups, and records track what advice was given and what followed. Fits people who prefer turning research into practical steps and teaching adults in classrooms and on site.

AI & the future of this role
Generic how-to content online could crowd out some classroom delivery, but local farm visits, household coaching, and trusted advice still favor in-person educators. Demand may hold unevenly where programs stay hands-on and place-specific.
