Studies how work actually gets done inside an organization, then recommends changes to systems, procedures, or structure. That starts with gathering information: interviewing staff, watching units on site, and reviewing forms, reports, and how information moves. After analyzing the data, the job is to write findings, propose alternatives, and help put new methods in place, including manuals and training for the people who will use them. Follow-up talks with managers and staff check whether the new process is working. The work is a better fit for those who like observing real work, turning what they see into written recommendations, and explaining new procedures clearly.
