Production
The work is building or modifying electrical and electronic equipment—computers, motors, batteries, test gear, and similar units—from schematic drawings and work orders. Components, wiring, and casings are positioned, aligned, and fastened with rivets, bolts, solder, or micro-welds; holes may be drilled for mounts or cable runs. Defective parts are adjusted or replaced, and finished assemblies are checked against specifications. Some time goes to cleaning parts, forming simple structures, and showing other workers how a step is done. It suits people who like reading diagrams, assembling small systems by hand, and catching errors before a unit is finished.
