Water Resource Specialists
Management
You study how water is stored, moved, treated, and regulated, then turn that analysis into programs and plans. Modeling—hydrologic, hydraulic, or water-quality—sits beside reviews of storm-water systems and designs for detention basins, storm drains, and flood-control works. Investigations cover pollutants, wastewater discharge, permits, and other compliance questions, and you write strategies so watersheds meet supply, conservation, and clean-water rules. Proposals often go to government offices, community groups, or public-interest groups. Fits people who prefer detailed water-system analysis and presenting those plans to government and community groups.
