The work is building two- and three-dimensional images and motion on computers so objects and characters look lifelike—by adjusting light, color, texture, shadow, and transparency, or by turning still pictures into the illusion of movement. On larger multimedia jobs, the same person may help with budgets, schedules, background design, and tracking whether the work is on time.
