Construction and Extraction
Assignments change from day to day: loading and unloading materials, cleaning and preparing the site, operating and maintaining construction tools and equipment, or supporting skilled tradespeople as directed. There is no single trade to settle into; the work follows whatever the crew needs. Site safety protocols have to be followed while tools are used and materials are moved around the job. The work tends to suit people who like varied physical tasks, taking direction, and switching among hauling, cleanup, and tool work.

AI & the future of this role
Much of this work is varied hands-on construction that still needs people on job sites. Software may streamline scheduling and some planning, but physical installation, site judgment, and unpredictable conditions tend to keep demand for flexible workers.
